NAPH membership is open to professors and instructors in colleges, universities and seminaries who specialize in the area of Hebrew and related subjects, ancient, medieval and modern. NAPH also welcomes non-academic members and students whose occupations or interests are related to Hebrew studies.
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Membership dues categories are:
REGULAR member: $75.00 per year
REGULAR with HS Journal member: $90.00 per year
RETIRED member: $50.00 per year
RETIRED with HS Journal member: $65.00 per year
STUDENT member: $35.00 per year
STUDENT with HS Journal member: $50.00 per year
Single articles of Hebrew Studies Journal may be requested by members by emailing the NAPH office.

MEMBERSHIP IN NAPH BRINGS YOU
- Access to Hebrew Studies Journal: Internationally recognized scholarly journal devoted to Hebrew language and literature of all periods. Journal cost and shipping included in highest membership categories above.
- Higher Hebrew Education: An annual publication devoted to methodology and pedagogy of university teaching of modern and biblical Hebrew. The current volume of Hebrew Higher Education is now on-line.
- Iggeret: Professional newsletter issued annually.
Notes of NAPH meetings and conferences; NAPH members and their scholarly activities; recent significant publications; current academic openings; post-graduate fellowships, grants, etc., for the summer or sabbatical study and research; national and international conferences and congresses and general cultural programs in the U.S. and abroad.
- National Sessions: NAPH holds an annual autumn session of papers and deliberations in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of SBL/AAR.
- International Conferences: NAPH holds an annual spring conference of scholars and teachers of Hebrew language and literature in institutions of higher learning. Members receive a reduced registration fee.
Papers Presented and Published: NAPH members receive first call to propose papers for presentation at national or regional sessions and to submit papers for possible publication in Hebrew Studies and Hebrew Higher Education.

The NAPH Office will also send you an electronic receipt when dues are processed. Please allow some time for processing before contacting the NAPH Office about your payment. If you receive a receipt from the payment system, your payment has been accepted and will be processed by the office.
Please note: Membership dues are separate from Conference Registration.
